Located in the East Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago, I teach private violin lessons for all ages and skill levels. Music has brought so many wonderful experiences into my life, and I love spreading the joy of playing music through teaching and performing. I have been playing the violin for 29 years. I have a Master of Music degree from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Music from Belmont University. I studied violin with Ilya Kaler and Elisabeth Small, viola with Rami Solomonow, and violin pedagogy with Olga Kaler and Elisabeth Small. I also studied violin with Xalida Akhtyamova at the Gniesn Academy of Music in Moscow. I am currently a member of the Rockford Symphony Orchestra, the South Bend Symphony Orchestra, the Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra, and the Oistrach Symphony Orchestra. I am a former member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago and the Hunstville Symphony Orchestra. I have performed in the New World Symphony, and the Nashville Symphony Orchestra, where I played on two of their recordings.
